Trump is buying toxic beef from Argentina to prop up an Israeli vassal state in South America, while putting American cattle ranchers out of business. Chalk up another win for MAGA!! 🇺🇸

If the pleb node runners aren't in control, it's not Bitcoin. It's just another industry-run crypto

Just to make it clear which reality I choose to live in: BIP-110 failed. It didn’t have consensus. The 110 fork is not Bitcoin. I wish everyone well on their respective directions. Might take a break, might not. GFYs.

State-level attack on Bitcoin escalating

Red Team is an effort to make it appear that all the software in Bitcoin is riddled with bugs. As I said, most of what they'll turn up is inconsequential. It is happening in parallel with an obvious state-level attack against sovereign hodlers (Coldcard users, Lightning users,

Bitcoin as a “Medium of Exchange” is clearly under attack right now. And once you can’t spend it except through regulated entities, Bitcoin as a “Store of Value” will be attacked. That’s why our line in the sand is “Bitcoin is Money”.

Notice he has nothing to say about the Coldcard incident or its victims, and he still hasn’t alerted his 5M followers of the ongoing hack.

Less than 1% of Bitcoin’s economic weight has adopted BIP-110. The claim that 16%-18% of nodes equals 16%-18% support confuses software distribution with economic consensus. Bitcoin is not one node, one vote.

This is the attack on Bitcoin. We stand against this or Bitcoin is lost.

Hmm, “it must fail” is a very different stance to “it will fail”. The Consortium is having doubts.

BIP110 supporters are pioneering a new type of attack: the 1% attack. If successful, it would show how trivial it is to attack the Bitcoin network. Just rent 1% of the hashrate and spin up 3k nodes. Attackers can be incredibly disruptive and waste massive amounts of time for

The impulse to change Bitcoin’s rules merely to prevent others from using Bitcoin in ways you disapprove of is statist and alien to a community rooted in liberty, property rights, free markets, natural law, and Austrian economics. BIP 110 would impose monetary purity by fiat.

Statist suitcoiner (who thinks that Bitcoin needs his pref stock in order to become money) telling sovereign node runners what to do, while showing staggering ignorance of previous UASF dynamics like BIP-148 and the role they played in activating Segwit. Incredibly embarrassing for the Bitcoin movement that this bad actor still has a platform
