@Jaguar Have you considered selling Land Rover? I tried one and now believe in bad luck. @MercedesBenz is handling my recovery. @RangeRover @JLR_News
@RangeRover The plot twist? @JLR_News turned out to be the Mercedes sales team. Came for the Range. Left because I have standards. @MercedesBenz @RangeRover #TheGentlemen
@stratstoneuk @stratstoneuk Reading: my Range Rover felt like a death trap after it caught fire following reported faults and your investigations. I trusted your expertise with my safety. I’m furious. Explain what you checked. “Please DM us” doesn’t answer that. @JLR_News
@stratstoneuk Reading: my Range Rover felt like a death trap after it caught fire following reported faults and your investigations. I trusted your expertise with my safety. I’m furious. Explain what you checked. “Please DM us” doesn’t answer that. @JLR_News
@NickCluley @stratstoneuk @ListersGroup Totally agree! They take your cash then treat you with utter disgrace
@ben_drakes @Jaguar @stratstoneuk @ben_drakes That sounds familiar. JLR also told me it didn’t sell or repair my Range Rover when closing my complaint after a fire. Deeply disappointing to see another owner given that response. Did you ever get a resolution? @stratstoneuk @JLR_News
@stratstoneuk @dremmaj_icu @dremmaj_icu Wishing you better luck than I’ve had, Emma. After my Range Rover fire, JLR closed my complaint without inspecting the vehicle. So disappointing to see another owner chasing answers. I hope you get proper support and a resolution @stratstoneuk
@stratstoneuk @stratstoneuk I’ve already been told NO, and JLR used your job cards to review and close my complaint. This public offer to help privately feels like saving face. What will a DM change? Will you arrange a senior review of Stratstone Reading’s handling of my reported faults?
@JLR_News I paid for a JLR extended warranty, reported faults and my Range Rover later caught fire. You refuse to refund cover I say gave me no benefit. In my experience, it wasn’t fit for purpose. @HendyGroup @stratstoneuk Where was the peace of mind I paid for?
MERC vs RANGE: I left the three-pointed star for a five-star headache. @MercedesBenz take me back. @JLR_News has kindly handled your customer acquisition. @RangeRover @BBCWatchdog @whatcar @AutoExpress
@MercedesBenz take me back. @RangeRover and I are no longer on speaking terms. Although, to be fair, neither are me and their complaints team. @JLR_News
@MercedesBenz please send @JLR_News a commission. Their complaints team has done more to sell me a Mercedes than your entire marketing department. My Range Rover caught fire. Apparently customer care was an optional extra. @RangeRover
@MercedesBenz I’m sorry. Always had a Merc, thought I’d try a Range Rover. Character development, apparently. Came running back—partly out of loyalty, partly because my car caught fire. Please take me back. I’ve finished exploring. @RangeRover @JLR_News
@RangeRover sold me the dream. JLR aftercare sold me a Mercedes! @MercedesBenz
@RangeRover @RangeRover NO CONFIDENCE! A vehicle fire is frightening enough. Being dismissed afterwards makes it worse. Mine caught fire, yet JLR closed my complaint without inspecting it or sharing findings. In my experience, the aftercare has been appalling. @JLR_News
@RangeRover @RangeRover Iconic cars, dreadful aftercare. In my experience, the extended warranty offered no peace of mind, and JLR’s complaints team left me feeling dismissed. Premium prices should come with customer service to match. @JLR_News
@JLR_News @RangeRover Your complaints and extended warranty customer service has been appalling in my experience. Seven weeks, then an abrupt closure call after a vehicle fire. No JLR inspection, no findings shared, no warranty refund. Premium prices, dismissive treatment.
@RACPress Do you have data on how many Range Rovers suffer engine fires, and any common causes? Mine caught fire after repeated fault reports. JLR closed my complaint without inspecting the car. Where can owners find reliable figures? @JLR_News @RangeRover
