Good intentions are overrated. The world is riddled with people that have 'good intentions'. Nothing happens until you've got good ACTIONS. The true art of a good life is to have your good actions out-weigh and out-perform your simple good intentions.
Politely and civilly having conversations about controversial topics with people you disagree with is very important for both decreasing animosity and increasing understanding. Agree or not, you will learn a lot.

Saying that “straight men” are sometimes predators is irrelevant to the argument that drag performances and the LGBTQ agenda should not be promoted to children.
Sexualizing children (or objectifying anyone for that matter) should be condemned regardless of who does it.

If the Bill of Rights didn’t exist, and if I were to offer those Amendments on the floor of the House today, most Democrats would vote NO on the Bill of Rights. No Democrat would vote for the 2nd Amendment. Few would vote for the 1st, 4th, 9th, or 10th Amendments as worded.
But falsehoods, when put in the fire, will be exposed and destroyed. There is no need to protect truth from scrutiny. Open and honest investigation will reveal the truth, for real gold fears no fire.
If the left is going to argue that “cultural appropriation” is wrong, they should at least be consistent. Seems quite one sided to me.
