Saturday's watch party has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience!

They have destroyed the historic University Club building. However, the spirit of the people who built and loved it is alive and developing plans for the future.

It at least appears that they are saving those expensive columns we installed so recently and our lovely door/windows. As I left, they were destroying our brick patio. Surely wish I'd rescued a nandina. They've destroyed them, as well as our magnolia trees.

As I walked to graduation on Friday, May 11, I saw some workers around the Club. I have not been on campus for a week. I understand demolition has begun. The portico is down.
