.@UMich is seeking feedback from students, faculty & staff members on a draft policy designed to address disruptions to university events and operations. Feedback from Ann Arbor campus community members will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. April 3. record.umich.edu/articles/u-m-r…
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich You people are acting like wannabe dictators. Criminalizing peaceful protest is something autocrats do, not administrators at a public university.
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich Stop censoring students advocating for Palestinian liberation.
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich Why is there a need for comment now - UM has allowed all the other "peaceful" protests to occur?
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich Michigan has a rich history of protesting, this is something that was part of the umich lore. It should not be punished.
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich Alum and A2 resident so I don't qualify for the survey but I want UM to know that are on the wrong side of history on this one. Let students protest.
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich What disruption? Spent an entire season attending UM Basketball and was hoping for just a tiny bit of “disruption” if only to alleviate the boredom.
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich "No Person may disrupt the UniversityOperations of UM Facilities...by obstructing lines of sight, making loud or amplified noises, projecting light or images, or otherwise creating substantive distractions." will this apply to Ohio State fans on game days? idk much about sports
@UMPublicAffairs @UMich Your draft policy is a disgrace. This is America. If you can’t tolerate student protests then you are not a public University. In my student days, protests and dissenting voices were welcomed and respected.
