Few people know that Capo originally got his clout from calling a big “unforeseen” drop in crypto [long in advance to it happening of course]. He went on about “this coming drop” at 40K~ and said he would buy at 20K~ if I remember right. The drop came and rather than buying like he wanted, he got high off his own supply and continued bearposting. He began posting speeches about how everyone doubted him/went personal but he stuck to his gut etc. etc. Essentially, he got hooked to that “feeling” of beartarding amongst bulls and being right. It’s quite fun, if I may say so myself. But at the end of the day, if he bought at 20K, he would’ve won. Because nobody remembers how you start, However everyone remembers how you finish. He REALLY BADLY wanted to be correct on this “10K call” - so he convinced himself that 15K couldn’t be the bottom after FTX imploded. Then when 20K came again, he said it’s a deadcat bounce max shorted. I stopped being a LTF seller a very long time ago. You have to stay bullish in this game. Why? Because the ending for BTC will forever be higher if you understand macroeconomics even 0.1%. Despite alts getting raped on 10/10 and some coins doing nothing impressive [sure, ETH as an example], The previous cycle and even current hasn’t felt like a bear market. The majority of people here have been holders/traders of BTC when it was 4-5figs. So your brain is accustomed to seeing it trade at that price range. 80K~ BTC and people are being hysterical about stagnant price action, it’s just fucking PATHETIC. When BTC dropped from 70K to 15K, THAT felt like a painful bear market because it was ruthless and almost instantaneous. When we had BTC trading north of 100K last cycle, Let’s be real - it almost didn’t feel real. Right now it’s at 80K~ how is that painful? How is that bearish? Because we went up to 100K+ and then went back down to 60K? Does 60K, much less 80K, seem like a “bad” bear market to you guys? [Forget alts, they’ve always been ponzi]. Again, most of you guys who have been trading BTC at 5K - 20K etc. So think. How many people here realistically bought BTC over 100K? Very fucking few. Most of you are in pain because you’ve been chopped to fuck on leverage trying to time big impulse moves higher or lower. Stop being a dumb fuck and grow up. The cycle bottom was 58K. One of the greatest fake it til you make it stories in Crypto. Mario Nawfal ran some web3 "incubator" called the IBC group where he'd charge projects ungodly amounts to market for them. He'd routinely say he had various large crypto accounts onboarded as KOLs even though he didn't. He became a "news page" where he'd post about crypto and then transitioned to global events, all without fact checking anything. He'd then run these spaces where projects could pay to get featured, they gained some traction and now he routinely gets RT'd by Elon and hosts spaces with some of the biggest celebs and ppl on the planet. At this point it's GGs, respect the grift, bro truly faked it until he made it.
