Your home, managed like the asset it is. Know what it's worth, what protects it, and which pro to call. Opening in November, by request.unbreakai.com/#request United StatesJoined February 2026
Why only fifty homes?
A home app earns its place by being calm, useful and right about your house. You don't get there with a million users on day one.
You get there with fifty owners telling you what actually helps.
Fifty keys. That's the whole founding round.
Each one gets your home's value with its condition counted, one update a month, and the few jobs that protect it. Free for a year.

Trick-or-treaters arrive next Saturday. The porch steps, the railing and the walk to your door get more visitors that night than any other.
A wobbly rail or a loose step is a good reason to call a handyman this week.
@MrHandymanCLTRH Bay window trim takes more weather than most of the house because it sticks out on three sides. Is that where you usually find the first soft wood on Charlotte homes?
@Realtorfahadi 20% forgiven each year you stay is a nice nudge to put down roots. Five years is also about when the first bigger jobs show up in a lot of homes. Do you see buyers set aside part of the help for that, or mostly put it toward closing costs?
@move_realty Number 4 is the one almost nobody knows about. A guest bathroom that sits unused all winter can start to smell and people assume it's a plumbing problem. Do your buyers usually hear about it at the inspection?
@JeremyHL Buying at 40 instead of 29 often means stretching for an older house too, with the roof and furnace further along. Knowing those ages in year one matters more than it used to. Did the piece say anything about the age of the homes first-time buyers end up in?
@realtordotcom A professionally built concrete bowl on half an acre is a fun one to price. To the right buyer it's the reason to buy; to the next one it's a big feature they'd never use. How do appraisers usually handle a feature like that?
@BobVila Window-washing day is also the one day a year most of us look closely at every window. Good moment to jot down which ones fog between the panes or stick, so they go on next year's list instead of surprising you.
@LoganMohtashami Fast cycle times on new builds is good news. The other side homeowners feel: getting a well-rated roofer or HVAC tech on the calendar in a cold snap. Curious if you see the repair and remodel side of construction jobs growing too, or mostly new homes.
@NewsLambert@ResiClub_HQ From $11K to $52K on the same $500K home. One thing buyers taking those deals can do with part of it: plan for the roof, HVAC and water heater all aging on the same clock, since in a new build they were all installed the same month.
A ten-minute weekend habit: walk around the outside of your house and just look.
Loose downspouts, peeling paint, a crack you hadn't noticed. You're not fixing anything. You're paying attention.
@xLogicxl Congrats on the house. One tip from people a few years ahead of you: find out the age of the water heater, furnace, and roof this month, while it's still fun. Those three decide most of what the house costs you over the next five years.
@Superiair1 "Test the heat before you need it" is the one that saves people. The first cold week fills every calendar in town, and the no-heat calls go to the back of the line.
@RedCandleRx Of those three lines, maintenance is the only one the homeowner actually controls, and it's the biggest. Taxes and premiums are set for you. The $11K is where the order of work, and whether it gets done at all, changes what the home is worth.
@AdesanmiAj83390@moshe_wigder Good addition. A useful follow-up to that question: "unexpected" by whom? Most of the big bills in the first five years are the furnace, the roof, and the water heater, and all three have an age the day you move in.
@SeanUyehara The "broken AC unit" line is the one that gets people, because it feels like bad luck. It mostly isn't. A 14-year-old unit is a scheduled expense that nobody scheduled. Price the big systems by age before you sign and the surprise column gets a lot shorter.
