I'm really hoping that the LDS Church's new embrace of Holy Week isn't merely a “we’re not weird, please like us” campaign: religionnews.com/2023/04/08/mor… @RNS

We started a GoFundMe for Kenyan friends who want to build a school in their town. They are AMAZING people. The cost to build and outfit the school is less than what it would cost to buy a new car in the U.S. gofund.me/3931b132 Please donate and RT! Thank you!

So far we've raised $350 USD. I'm trying to raise $1,000. Books are 🤑 here (often imported). Thank you to those who have already donated. Even $5 makes a huge difference. I'm happy to show the donation receipt to any donor who would feel more comfortable donating w/proof.

My friend, Odijo is an amazing person. He created a program for feeding the homeless. He rehabilitates street boys, educates them, and prepares them for 2ndary school. He teaches night classes for adults. Three months ago, he created a community library. On Sunday, it burned. 1/
