@hajarkagalwa @volklub In a developing country like ours with serious gap in infrastructure, we are like walking Eggs on road !! Get a car and save yourself from Misery and death ( better than being disabled )

Why are freshly passed DM/MCh doctors in India often not allowed to practice independently in corporate hospitals? Why the mandatory “2 years as Associate Consultant” in so many centres? A freshly qualified DM doctor has already completed years of MBBS + MD + 3 years of super-speciality training. Yet, after completing the highest formal qualification in the field, they are sometimes expected to spend another 2 years doing the hard clinical work of a consultant—while having limited independent OPD/IPD privileges, recognition and decision-making autonomy. Is this genuinely about patient safety and mentorship? Or has “Associate Consultant” quietly become an extension of residency? If structured mentorship is needed, absolutely. But it should have clear objectives, timelines, competencies and fair recognition. We need to ask: Are we training super-specialists, or creating a prolonged hierarchy where independent practice is delayed simply because the system allows it? #MedX #MedTwitter #DMDoctors #MCh #MedicalEducation #Healthcare #DoctorsOfIndia #GSR

@IamGopambuj Yes , after completing MS ORTHO AND ONE YEAR SR in medical college , I have struggling even to get Registrar post ( which is like Residency ) , leave alone associate / jr Consultant ! Harsh reality of Indian MD degree! I feel MS programs are producing half baked doctors !

@HaryanviBhrata Enough doctors but no infrastructure for doctors to work !! Uneven distribution and oversaturatiton in tier 1 and tier 2 cities as CHC and PHC have serious lapse in facilities that any sane doctors can’t practice ! Building better infrastructure is way to go rather than seats !

Indian parents think children are insurance plans in their old age ! I don’t see serving parents as a wrong thing but intention with which people are having a child astonishes me ! ( I am aware of Indian culture where parents are equated to God ) Ex : Shravankumar

I am waiting for Bidar to Shirdi train , since train was delayed by 1 hour , was sitting in waiting room at Bidar station . Room is full of urine smell 😣 . I don’t know when our railway services improve! Annoucing new trains won’t solve this .
