Infrastructure of learning: universities and schools are traditional examples. But what kind of learning infrastructure can we create in the modern world? One that adapts to rapid change, fosters curiosity, and connects knowledge across fields?
I wonder how relevant it is nowadays to learn low-level abstraction implementations, like understanding how processors work. Does diving into such fundamentals give a tangible benefit in modern software development, or is it more of a niche skill?
I'm trying to change the way I learn new information. My goal is to develop a habit of getting to the core of the material and gaining a deep understanding, rather than just reading.
Can you imagine automatic thoughts like "I feel sad, so I need to do more deep work; this will make me happy" instead of "I feel sad, I need to scroll a little bit on social media or eat something sugary"?

In school, students discuss the differences between humans and animals. I think soon it will be relevant to discuss the differences between humans and LLMs. Perhaps the difference is authenticity and independence of thought. #AI#education#thought
