@ValaAfshar Yes, but what’s surprising is that he completely missed the impact of miniaturization, which led first to PCs and then to handheld mobile computing devices - which are what really enabled the social changes he (accurately and presciently) predicted.

@ValaAfshar @NNorma192 It’s difficult now to imagine that we found it astounding to listen to that prediction of how our lives would change due to the computer. I’m 65 and lived through it. Sometimes I wish my mother was still alive so I could FaceTime her, she’d be aghast!
