When your desire to build a merchant fleet leads you to want to abolish 100,000s of office jobs by government fiat, and force clerks into shipyards, you might want to review your goal, because that's Khmer Rouge territory. @MikeBlack114

@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 I didn’t say abolish or force. I said cut And regardless of if you like the idea or not the Boomers are a massive generation and Gen X is small. Jobs will go unfilled regardless of if you actively cut some or not.
@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 Bring trades education back to high schools. Remove the stigma from trades. Start a national shipbuilders pension plan. Good wages and benefits… Shipbuilders have to be created… we aren’t sitting around looking for work.
@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 geee...a labor shortage you say? I wonder where we can get thousands of workers to fill those jobs.
@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 We need an addendum on Godwin's law for "Khmer Rouge" references.
@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 Oh noes not the poor officorinos
@ValkStrategy @MikeBlack114 We could eliminate a lot more than 100k office jobs just in government. And we should.
