Bob Iger said that he was dismayed at the Disney’s performance under Bob Chapek’s tenure: “I was disappointed in what I was seeing in the transition period and while I was out. I worked hard at distancing myself from it.” bit.ly/3QZkA3e
@Variety Distancing himself from the mess HE, Bob Iger made for Chapek to clean up?
@Variety I knew he would go for this tactic 😂
@Variety Iger created this mess on his own. He’s a big boy, he needs to own it.
@Variety Chapel didn't even get time to change the emails to CEO before I get came back
@Variety What does that say about Iger since he personally chose Chapek to be his successor?
@Variety Disney stock was at a all time high under Chapek's rule, while Iger drove the stock into the ground
@Variety You set up Chapek to take the fall for your decisions and covid. Then came back conveniently when the lockdowns were over and the theme parks and theaters were fully reopened. And you still failed.
@Variety So Iger distanced himself from the highest stock price in company history? It's a failure of the institutional shareholders that this man is still in charge. It doesn't have a functional board, just handpicked lackeys beholden to Iger, aka the acquirer.
