One again today we remember the great Zambian political leader and former President, Levy Mwanawasa who died on this day in 2008. This great African leader stood with the Zimbabwean people against the ZANUPF dictatorship and told Robert Mugabe in his face that what he was doing was wrong and bad! In 2008 President Levy Mwanawasa urged southern Africa to take a new approach to Zimbabwe, which he likened to a “sinking Titanic” as millions flee economic and political turmoil. 15 years later, nothing has changed and we don’t have courageous leaders like President Mwanawasa anymore. Please RETWEET so that young people learn and know of this courageous and great African leader. Probably the best leader Zambia has ever had, May his soul continue to Rest in Peace.

ZANUPF trolls have photoshopped the picture below so that it appears as if I am endorsing President Mnangagwa’s election in 2023. It shows the height of desperation when a ruling party deceives citizens. President Mnangagwa should run on his track record not false endorsements.
