Not every career decision becomes clear before you make it.
Sometimes experience gives you information that planning alone can’t.
A new opportunity, challenge or environment can show you things you couldn’t see from the outside and that can change how you think about your career direction.
You don’t need every answer before you take the next step.

Your career shapes more than your workday.
The opportunities you choose can influence your time, flexibility, energy and the life you build around your work.
Progress should make sense for the life you want too.

Feeling behind in your career doesn’t always mean you’re on the wrong path.
Career progression doesn’t happen on one timeline. Different experiences, priorities and opportunities shape the direction people take.
What matters is whether your career path is moving you toward the work, opportunities and life you actually want.
Keep this in mind the next time you compare your progress to someone else’s.

Seeing more options can change how you think about your next move.
A clearer view can reveal opportunities and directions you might not have considered.
What possibility are you seeing differently right now?

@juan_snow1 It’s frustrating when you do what you’re told should create opportunities and still end up unsure where to go from there. The harder part is figuring out what actually makes sense for your own path.
@_ImCahya_ It’s interesting how a path can look like the “right” next step on paper and still feel difficult once you’re actually living it. Those experiences can tell you a lot about what you want from the next stage.
@kthsdaydream That pressure can start long before graduation. It’s hard when it feels like you’re supposed to already know what comes next before you’ve even finished the current chapter.
@nocful That last point is easy to overlook. What you get from a career isn't only about the work itself, having room for the things that matter to you outside of it can shape whether the path actually feels worthwhile.
@SeraRed9 Taking a step back can give you a lot more clarity than forcing yourself through a path that no longer feels sustainable. Hope the time off gives you space to figure out what you actually want next.
