ADR for the week is hit and price starts trapping traders. Everyone expecting a simple break and retest got stopped out. Know the area you're trading in.
US30 rejecting highs and lows all day. Waiting for the breakout of the zone of consolidation, then type 1, 2, or 3. That's the plan.
Forex, US30, XAUUSD, oil, BTCUSD, even Tesla options. I trade them all the exact same way. Learn one thing properly and you can trade everything.
Range broke, retest printed, everyone wants to buy. I'm out. Structure is still lower low lower high. That breakout could be inducement. Wait for the flip.
XAUUSD did 77 pips. My STP was 71. I'm done for the day. Know your number and walk away when it's hit.
Type 3 pattern: consolidation, break, retest 50% of the zone, then continuation.
High-impact news resets the trend. The market doesn't play by the rules during news. Sit it out.
26 pip stop to 6 pip stop: drop to the 1 minute and use structure. 1:1 becomes 1:3.
Two days of rise, third day they swipe the highs, then push down.
How far will the pullback go? Look for the retest with clean traffic to the highs.
Type 1 pattern long: consolidation, break of the double bottom, push 1 2 3.
The mentor trades the same plan he teaches. XAUUSD short today. 30M gave us the 2 day drop so we traded the 3/72. 30M bearish engulfing printed, entry on the retest. 8:30am news pushed price straight into the STP for the day. 1:3 RR.
3 days of drop means the market must go sideways or up. Don't think.
Type 2 short on the chart champs match. Engulfing candle, break, retest at 9:30, flew down.
Four timeframes, zero valid engulfing candles. Green needs a bottom wick, red needs a top wick. No trade.
The mentor trades the same plan he teaches. US30 long this morning. Type 2 pattern day, 1M CHoCH/BOS: entry after the 1M BOS at the higher low off the 50 EMA bounce. Stop below the previous higher low, target at the STP high. 1:4 RR.
