#avfc so I think that now makes our “magic number” 9 pts. So any combination of Spurs dropped or Villa gained points equal to or greater than 9 will mean Champions League for us. Now that’s magic 👍!!

Trend across the season is that when ahead we are increasingly sitting back. Against City at home we were still pressing for a second in injury time, but very different v Lille, Chelsea, even Brentford. Fatigue for me, not Unai getting negative. #avfc

That was as tough as I expected it might be. We looked really weary tonight and Chelsea played extremely well 2nd half. Very rare that you lose a two goal lead yet still feel like it might be a point gained in the end, especially with Spurs still to go to Chelsea. #avfc
