One neighbor said the circumstances immediately brought the Lindsay Clancy case to mind: "You never think it's going to hit so close to home."

NEW: Plymouth County DA Timothy Cruz fires back at a reporter's questions suggesting that the prosecution's case was "insensitive": "Insensitive? Insensitive is killing three children." "This case is not about the health care system or about how women are treated in it... This case, however, was about Lindsay Clancy and what she did on January 24th, 2023 and the cruel and calculated killing of three innocents." Plymouth County DA Timothy Cruz defends bringing first-degree murder charges against Clancy after her case ends in a mistrial. Cruz acknowledges the impact postpartum depression has on countless women and their families, but says the investigation did not establish that depression caused the killings.

BREAKING: Kevin Reddington speaks out following the mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy case, defending his client after 7 weeks of court proceedings. "I’m representing a woman who is a fantastic, wonderful individual. This woman is so brave, so awesome. Every day she came in this courthouse, stood tall, no pun intended." "The poor thing is in a wheelchair. As we all know for the rest of her life. And sat there through seven weeks of a trial where nobody had anything bad to say about her except for the two prosecutors and apparently Tim Cruz."

NEW: President Trump reacts to the Lindsay Clancy case being declared a mistrial: "It's a shame. It's a horrible tragedy." "She did a horrible, horrible thing. Can't be worse." Trump says he assumes another trial will follow, adding, "But you'll find out what the price to pay is."

JUST IN: President Trump agrees with VP JD Vance in refusing to call the months-long U.S. military action in Iran a war, instead calling it a "military conflict" and describing the whole thing as "small potatoes" to the United States. "Well, I'll tell you what. A lot of people don't call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it's small potatoes for us. It's not a big thing."
