@archaicf0ssil Did Jadzia and Garak have a real interaction before? She’s the only main cast character who I don’t think got to have their “Garak episode”.

@PulpLibrarian Every so often I see someone on the tube reading one of his books and they always look like Withnail.

@archaicf0ssil It’s interesting how the second half of DS9 season 6 is just about removing characters from the station and putting them through private hells.

@Chef_EZToon @Go_SYH_In_A_Pig @archaicf0ssil CL Moore wrote great 1930s pulp fantasy (Jirel of Joiry) and SF (Northwest Smith, one of the first space cowboy types in fiction). Because of her historical importance she's always in print somewhere. Kuttner is mostly forgotten but his novel Fury was just reissued.

@Chef_EZToon @Go_SYH_In_A_Pig @archaicf0ssil If Kay Eaton is partly based on CL Moore than I suspect that Julius is probably meant to be Henry Kuttner, who was her affable charismatic husband who collaborated with her quite a lot and wrote a lot of 1940s rocketships-n-robots stories.

@2thegreat166318 @dieworkwear Yep! My tiny suburban town has a place that sells model airplanes around the world but also has a beautiful shop. I can think of a few places like that within an hour’s drive that do similar things for wargaming, retro video games, etc
