5 bad habits that are keeping you from having the life you want:
7 years ago I joined a 20-person startup. I wanted to quit after my first week, but didn't. Now our company is worth over $1B and has 300+ employees. Here's what I've learned about succeeding at a startup:
A refresher: Net Increase/Decrease of cash during period + Cash at beginning of period = Cash at end of period The net increase/decrease is broken down into 3 categories: • Operating • Investing • Financing
An example of a self-managed income-producing asset: * A portfolio of rental properties that provide monthly income * A portfolio of dividend stocks * A product you created that you can sell over and over again * A business, either brick and mortar or online

Building wealth boils down to: • spending less than you make • control lifestyle creep • focus on what you value not on what society expects of you • buy quality assets • WAIT for the plan to play out
What you actually DO with the money you make matters more than the amount of money you make. There are plenty of people who make a LOT of money, but still live paycheck to paycheck.
Educate yourself about things. Study hard what interests you the most. Don't worry about what others think of you, that's none of your business. Train your mind to think, doubt, and question. That's how you grow. 🧠
