Imagine if Trump were President right now. There’s no doubt in my mind that WWIII would soon be underway. When I was in my twenties, I used to fight…a lot. It was my “crack cocaine.” As a result, I was frequently asked by a night clubs to come bounce for them. I always said no. Why? Because I liked to fight. That’s not who you want working the door. I was self-aware. I knew myself well. You want someone who will DE-escalate the situation and end it peacefully if possible. I knew that wasn’t me. President Biden is the right guy “working the door.” There won’t be scuffles every night at the national watering hole. He will make every effort possible to calm things down and avoid a full blown “bar room” brawl. Yet…if that fails…I’m confident he’ll dial up the heat to whatever level is required to make sure the building is left standing when it’s over.
@thejackhopkins You have much more faith in his wishy washy foreign policy than I do. Appeasing and funding Iran from the beginning is a contributing factor in how we got here.
@VirgilWethingt1 @thejackhopkins You call it "wishy-washy", I call it well thought out and effective. Personally, I'm glad to have an adult in the oval office instead of the tantrum throwing 2 year old we had there 2017 -2021.
@2nascarfans @thejackhopkins When I talk about wishy washy, I refer to the numerous lies he has told the world about his position in international activities.Examples: we will not leave Afghanistan until all Americans are out...we back Israel 100 % and will not interfere with their decisions.Bordersareclosed
@VirgilWethingt1 @2nascarfans @thejackhopkins You’re setting the bar pretty high for a complex world containing thousands of competing interests and billions of people. Let’s keep this simple: who walked away from a deal with Iran with nothing to replace it? Someone with a simplistic mindset, like yours.
@VirgilWethingt1 @2nascarfans @thejackhopkins No Americans who wanted to leave were left.
