I like a manager who is clear with his philosophy and principles but the best managers in the world adapt to different structures as per the personnel available while retaining the core principles and ideas. Amorim has a one track mind and it's sick right now.

Until Amorim's appointment, missing the top 4 was largely the barometer of failure for a Manchester United manager. In the past 5 years they've had 3 top-3 finishes. The change in tone and drop in standards in the past year is astonishing. Results are an unmitigated disaster.

We've been let down by individual errors and lack of focus again but this Amorim team selection today is a big cause of concern. I'm trying really hard to like the formation as well but can't warm up to it. We need to see Mainoo-Casemiro Pivot and Bruno back at 10 in a 433.
