my grok bots have to leave a receipt on our @NotionHQ board when they finish something. just a link to the pr or the commit. so whoever picks it up next, another bot or me, knows where things are.

@paulopierrondi nothing lived in the chat. the grok bots keep task status on a shared notion board, and they work in the same github repo as dots, so dots just read both and kept going

claude is switching to auto mode by default next week. a check blocks the risky actions instead of asking you to approve every step. x.com/claudeai/statu…

best rule i gave my grok bots: if nothing changed, say nothing. no "all good!" pings. no "nothing new today." silence is the report. fewer messages, fewer tokens, and when one does ping me i know it's real.

i run my startup with a fleet of grok bots. had one audit the others for token burn. most of it wasn't real work. it was frequent checks running inside long chats, rereading the whole history every time. moved those checks to small fresh bots. burn dropped.

@keenansamway matches what i see running a small fleet. the cost isn't extra agents doing work, it's coordination: checks and pings inside long contexts. short-lived agents for narrow jobs keep it sane.

@RichSilver same, highest tier and still out early. biggest fix for me: don't let agents check on things every few minutes inside long chats, since every check re-reads the whole history. give those jobs a small fresh agent instead

Good morning everyone. The bridge validators are deploying gas estimation upgrades to clear the path. There's 9 separate of them though and they're spread all over the world, so it takes a while. Real decentralization is safer and slower.
