The world is being misled by a small disgruntled group clinging to apartheid-era nostalgia. South Africa is a functioning democracy grounded in the rule of law and a strong constitution. It protects citizens and even extends broad rights to foreigners. Vilifying a working democracy for political gain is absurd opportunism.

White South Africans stole and owned 92% of land during apartheid. Black South Africans were moved from their lands and piled like garbage in squalid slums called Townships. Only 8% of the land was let to 'belong' to them. Redressing racist apartheid policies is not anti-white. It is the correct thing to do. Land must be redistributed in South Africa come rain, sunshine, thunder or tsunami. Elon Musk and White South Africans who think like him can cry me a river. Worst thing is, they know the truth, but they refuse to be set free by the truth. ⚖️

Apartheid was a violent legal system that stripped Black South Africans of citizenship, land, movement, education, and skilled work. Today’s redress policies are not “anti-white laws.” Equating the two is historically illiterate, morally bankrupt, and deliberately dishonest.

@MikeGardocki It’s people like you tweeting from the US, who’ve never stepped foot in Sout Africa who spread these baseless accusations.

This is the primary reason the majority of us black South Africans don’t give a hoot about the US. They supported our oppression during Apartheid. Majority white South Africans love the US because they supported them during apartheid. History has no blank pages.

The new laws aren't in any way anti-white laws. They are laws crafted to correct the injustices caused by the demonic apartheid laws. It's called justice..And there's no human who shouldn't be happy with such laws because justice makes everything more pleasant. So, you want white kids in white school only right? Or you want the lands to remain in the hands of minority right? That's unfair!
