In 2016, 100 million people didn’t vote. In 2020, 100 million people voted early. We expanded access to the ballot box, and we now have record turnout.
The basis of American democracy is that we pick our leaders - our leaders do not pick their voters. We celebrate the millions of Americans who overcame barriers to the ballot box, mobilized their communities and voted in record breaking numbers. We the people have the power.

Election officials are taking the time to #CountEveryVote and get it right. For our democracy to work for all of us, every eligible voter must have their voice heard and vote counted. From poll workers to election officials, we thank everyone working hard.
Each state processes ballots on a different timeline, so each state will report results on a different timeline. It's unlikely there will be a complete count on election night. But that's okay! State & local election officials will be busy making sure that every vote counts!
