@jason_harrold We "clashed" when you were at Radio Bristol when I was at Avon and Somerset Police press office. Enjoying your commentary on BSN. In previous life I freelanced for Speedway Mail furing 1970s-80s.

@UprightSpeedway Remember his arrival in UK with mentor the late Kristian Praestbro. As rookie reporter for Dudley Herald, took them for a drink and game of darts. Erik threw darts like spears. Even then he was a really determined but pleasant young man. Happy Birthday Erik.

@AlanWarriner Why am I suddenly thinking Eric Bristow and the Scots crowd during the legendary internationals of 1970s/80s? Whistling - not a chance, it was full cans of lager thrown at the Crafty Cockney!!!

@UprightSpeedway @ITVSport A good appetiser for more...However I think mention of no brakes and 0-60 in four seconds would impress new viewers of the sport....

@MikeWaltersMGM And - perhaps Argentinian players who displayed protest flag at end of game should have been red carded, making them ineligible for the final!

@OfficialPDC How is MvG allowed to stand/invade the "grey" perimeter area? Not the first time I have noticed that he has encroached on the apparent "no-go" area....
