The range continues! Coming up on a month we've spent here now. Front end implied volatility has already retraced all the way back below 30.

BTC trying to reclaim range lows after both clarity act failure and hawkish fed meeting. Big spot here 👀

When’s the last time we had a real major buyer of BTC be revealed? Has it really been since Tesla in Jan 2021? How long until even one ultra HNWI, SWF, pension fund, etc. discloses a multi billion $ direct position? I don’t think we’re as late to the Bitcoin trade as people say.

Semis + Mag7/Hyperscalers up together today. This has been a rarity this year (semi vs hyperscaler correlation at an all-time low). The recipe for new S&P 500 highs is hypers + semis rallying together.

After finally breaking out of this range, the charts just look lovely right now on all timeframes. Happy with my btc position from the low 60s + bit that I added during range. Sitting on my hands now, nothing left to do for a while.

The biggest exports of the United States are the dollar & capital markets. Stablecoins and tokenized stocks perpetuate this.

To be cynical, US doesn’t even need to have a formal Bitcoin reserve for geopolitical reasons, it just needs companies within its jurisdiction to own it. Executive order 6102 in 1933 ordered surrender of gold to treasury below mkt price. Pic unrelated and for meme purposes only.

After Friday's post-cpi retrace, mkt rinsed out the minor build-up of open interest that was there, spot buyers absorbed range lows. Looks like perp traders now are unsure & don't want to place big bets ahead of FOMC. Mkt looking duly de-frothed. I added some btc this morning.

Sold down my zec exposure for ~50% gain, was running rlly risk on from before the impulse off the lows, didn’t want to touch my BTC exposure, and it’s the only beta I had. Rlly not a fan of how this morning’s move got stuffed.

If China is buying oil again after not buying for most of the duration of the Iran conflict (and little buffer left with reserves now widely drained), guess they could start to put pressure on the US via inflation expectations and therefore the bond market? Financial warfare?

OIL Shanghai crude futures above Brent Crude for the first time since May. China's buyer strike has been the most important reason oil prices have remained subdued during the Iran War. It seems China is buying again now...
