Are you 27 or older and live in the Raleigh area? Can you play baseball without embarrassing yourself or others? If your answers to both questions is "yes," then boy oh boy do we have a proposition for you. Come and play with the Jays this season! Reply for details.

And Alex Lentz (@a_lentzy) was the heart and soul of this team. The best catcher in the league (we’ll fight you to the death on this point). He led the team in both HRs and batting helmets smashed. But we wouldn’t trade him for anyone.

Landy Townsend (@landotown) was the glue that held this team together. The Blue Jays simply don’t exist without him. The most reliable OF we have, and his .458 average doesn’t begin to measure his impact on the team and league.

Chins up, Jays. The season may have ended today but the future looks bright. Some may have left us for dead when we were floundering at 4-10. But we responded with a 4-game winning streak & were the only lower-seeded team to reach the semifinals. Fun year. We’ll be back.
