AI | Youtube @WJAI313

Let me start with a quick introduction. I used to be a senior programmer at a major tech company—earning a good salary and enjoying a stable life. But over the past two years, watching AI evolve so rapidly made me increasingly anxious. To be honest, it wasn't the "wow, that's cool" kind of excitement; it was the panic of wondering, "If things keep going this way, how much longer will my current skills actually be worth anything?" After a lot of thought, I made a decision that—looking back—was pretty impulsive: I quit my job without a backup plan to go all-in on AI. What exactly am I doing? AI-generated content combined with managing long-form YouTube videos. For the past three months, I’ve focused on one cycle: making videos, analyzing data, tweaking, and making more. I experimented with topics, editing styles, and pacing—and plenty of those attempts turned out to be wasted effort. But through trial and error, I’ve managed to build 10 long-form video channels that qualify for the YPP (YouTube Partner Program). The numbers aren't huge, but the achievement means a lot to me: it proves that this path is viable—at least, it’s a path someone *can* successfully navigate. So, I want to document this journey on X. Here’s what I’ll be sharing: · Real data—unvarnished and honest, not just the highlights. · The pitfalls I encountered and how I climbed out of them. · The less-than-glamorous struggles (like revising a thumbnail for the eighth time at 3 AM, only to get 200 views). I’m still figuring out whether a programmer can truly make the switch to AI content creation—I’m still testing the viability of this path myself. If you’re sitting on the fence, feeling anxious, or working on something similar, feel free to follow along—let’s exchange ideas as we go. That’s it for the first post; more to come later.
