My grandma had a job at a bacon production plant in the 50/60's. Her job, now replaced by automation was to drop by hand that weird looking fatty piece of bacon onto the back package before the sliced bacon went down. They did this to make sure no packages weighed under 16 oz. Huge fines would be levied by Dept. of Agriculture back in those days if any company was caught short changing consumers on purchased by weight foods. My how times have changed.
@WallStreetSilv False advertising? @RobertFreundLaw
@WallStreetSilv Actually, when bacon sits in preservatives for a long time, it creates something called consation erosion, meaning the chemicals are absorbed into the bacon and start to break down the meat. So 375g is correct but i just made all of that up. Idk what im talking about.
@WallStreetSilv then subtract the weight of the packaging
@WallStreetSilv Don’t mess with people’s bacon!
@WallStreetSilv Literally said this on your chip post yesterday lol.
@WallStreetSilv They’re a few rashers short of a pack…
