It’s now more expensive to hire a tanker from the US to China than to launch a rocket into space, per Bloomberg

Call me a Putin apologist but he’s right.

@Pirate__Captain @ExnerPirot @lamphieryeg @grok @grok who is the largest corporate benefactor for these low Quebec hydro rates?

This is Dominic Barton, the guy Carney just appointed as the CEO of Invest Canada. He doesn’t think adding 100 million people to Canada is a big deal because China has a city with the same population as Canada. And who cares about healthcare, we will just figure it out. The woman speaking after him is also a nut job. She is from what I can tell advocating for a Government who dictates what is going to be built without the ability for others to push back. Carney sure knows how to pick the pretentious people.

🚨 China Is Officially Moving It’s Yuan Onto A New Gold Standard China Internationalizes the Gold-Backed Yuan and Payment System for the First Time Ever. Hong Kong’s government-owned gold clearing system launched trial operations in July 2026, providing unallocated OTC settlement linked to the Shanghai Gold Exchange to strengthen its position as an Asian gold hub. Bloomberg Research revealed that China is building a global network of gold vaults to anchor its Yuan to the gold. China has also announced blockchain-based payment system with BRICS, away from the dollar and backed by gold. China Is Hoarding Gold Like There’s No Tomorrow, buying it for 20 consecutive months. The UK, China, Japan, South Korea and India all sold U.S. Treasuries in July and re-started buying gold. South Korea started buying gold again after 13 long years. Gold has now surpassed U.S. Treasuries as reserve asset. Venezuela's $4 BILLION, 31 TON gold reserve is leaving London after EIGHT years. While Hong Kong advances its central gold clearing links with Shanghai, Assetiko has issued a tokenized gold product ($XAUa) on the Blockchain that offers on-chain exposure with possible physical delivery options in the region, trade-able on RWA Marketplaces like @Trensik_com, including tokenized U.S. stocks and commodities. The CCP’s Golden Endgame: Crash the Fiat System, Launch the Gold Yuan. This was exactly outlined by the famous City Of London banker @LordBelgrave at the start of the year. Washington will have no choice but to debase the U.S. dollar to get out of its debt trap. It’s all planned for Gold.

Want to build Canada, Canadian businesses & Team Canada? Broaden the RRSP & TFSA contribution rooms with the caveat that incremental investments must be made in Canadian HQ'd equities. Incent Canadians to 'buy' (invest) locally. Concrete Action > rhetoric.

Google is raising $80 billion of equity a week before SpaceX is trying to raise $75 billion a few months before Anthropic and OpenAI are trying to raise $100 billion from investors and you’re laughing??? This is a cataclysmic exit liquidity avalanche

What say you Canada, with a spring election looking imminent, should @PierrePoilievre take @joerogan up on his offer to appear on the podcast? If you support this idea, repost & share. Let's get this trending to send a message to Poilievre's handlers. @joeroganhq, does your offer still stand?

@rawsalerts Seems theatrical.. where’s his wife? No one is perp walking her?

🇺🇸 ELON ON BITCOIN: “WE PROBABLY WON'T HAVE MONEY - JUST ENERGY AS THE FACTO CURRENCY” "Currencies, if you will, that are physics-based. So energy is the real, the true currency. This is why I said Bitcoin is based on energy. You can't legislate energy. You can't just pass a law and suddenly have a lot of energy. It's very difficult to generate energy, especially to harness energy in a useful way to do useful work. So I think that we probably won't have money, and we’ll just have energy, power generation, as the de facto currency." Source: @elonmusk, @nikhilkamathcio

@elonmusk I can’t square Sam’s adamancy on Trump with his philosophy of determinism.

How realistic a threat are us tariffs to the Ontario auto sector? Canadians buy more cars annually than they manufacture. Canada manufactures 1 car/yr per year 29 citizens, while the states is 1 per 32 citizens. Avg lifespan of a car in the states is 37% longer than in Canada.

@JoeWecker It’s fiat. Not backed by anything but the collective confidence in our country and government.

This guy got a good point. 🤣🔥

The pro-carbon tax propaganda continues. The Toronto Star’s @aballinga reports on an unpublished, non-peer-reviewed study funded by Environment Canada, claiming the carbon tax has no impact on food prices in Canada. Meanwhile, we have two peer-reviewed studies in high-ranking journals presenting a different perspective (see links below). Additionally, 11 papers set to be published in January will highlight how carbon pricing can exacerbate social and economic inequities. @TondaMacC @TorontoStar
