Worlds stories are fun The only time I've publicly been shit talked/harassed was by the Female Smite Vtuber group at worlds Imagine using avatars to stream and then having the nerve to talk about the way I look, wild stuff Shitty people are everywhere its not a male/female thing
@Weak3n When I met you at the hotel, I was like this dude seems down to earth so it was a pleasure. But there’s always those people 🤣
@Weak3n Tell the worlds story about how you got bounced from the pc tournament so you made a console team, and now put world champion in all your bios. 🤡
@Weak3n Using avatars has nothing to do with how someone looks? No one should shit talk or harass others, straight up. Being a vtuber has nothing to do with it. You should have a problem with the person behind the avatar, not vtubing itself.
@Weak3n Mr. Weak3n, as respectfully as possible, this was an L take. u have an opportunity to lead by example & refuse to tolerate misogyny in ur community but u instead tried to downplay a situation thats bringing it to light? this community has room 4 improvement, y not encourage that?
@Weak3n I don’t love that you’re targeting an entire group of women in this post. either call the person out specifically or don’t say anything at all. this makes innocent people look bad. :/
I understand you saying it's not about male/female-but this is an opportunity to recognize the types of discrimination and devaluing that many women DO have to go through generally being valued for their looks and discredited in so many ways because of it. When I joined the Smite community over 10 yrs ago, I kept my name neutral, never used voice chat etc. because being a female in games was painting a target on your back-especially in a competitive game like Smite. That target imprisons you within it's boundaries and impacts your participation in the community. I'm proud to read a post about a female group of vtubers at worlds to begin with but sad that it ended toxically.
