Really think MLB should be hiking franchise fees & cementing itself with the revenue. Like literally protecting these players because they are more commodified, pushed to the limits & misunderstood than ever before. Like build MilB dorms & hike the minimum salary even helps vets
So the fact that Paul Skenes should be in MLB got me thinking that Owners should be interested in the proximity to greatness of Baseball. Like that seems like a major perk of ownership, to have close relationships with the greats you happen to be around or help to mold y’know?

Let’s not forget this was a Tank job by Miami Sherman didn’t want the cost of contention, so he didn’t even respect Kim Ng’s brilliance & success & support this team. Constant pushing is the only model for sustained success, they just won’t do it. It’s beyond the game.
Obviously #marlins pitching is depleted through injury, but the roster is also less sharp this year. In a close-late AB I'd rather have Stallings or Berti over Yuni & Bride. I like some of the AAA guys over those bats too. org talent need noted, but the flips aren't the fun.
