Lots of love for the end zone camera angle in DC. And it’s justified. The shots are gorgeous. According to FOX, it’s actually NOT a traditional “broadcast” camera. Instead, it’s a Sony mirrorless on a handheld gimbal. You can see the op in this clip.
@SVG_Brandon Might be a dumb question, but do you know how the Sony is routed to the truck for the broadcast?
@WhitehouseCody7 Not dumb at all. I have an ask in and I’ll let you know what they say.
@WhitehouseCody7 @SVG_Brandon Wireless unit in the backpack. Makes me nervous to see the HDMI out of the monitor isn’t locked.
@WhitehouseCody7 @SVG_Brandon Was wondering the same thing.
@WhitehouseCody7 @SVG_Brandon Definitely a wireless video transmitter. They basically switched out the traditional broadcast camera with an full frame sensor Sony mirrorless camera. They have been using wireless transmitter for a long time now
@WhitehouseCody7 @SVG_Brandon Gotta be a live pack with HDMI connection I’d guess? Like a news reporter out in the field would use.
