Keeping this brief because I don’t have the energy for an essay yet (that would be posted elsewhere if it happens). One of the reasons I like Dim20 as entertainment is that historically, its DMs are not shy, coy or playful about the amount of work they put in.

I'm surprised the "no initiative" discussion hasn't reached Daggerheart's Action Tracker section yet. I like that every player can have their own Teen Titans-esque cutscene if the table feels like that'd be more entertaining.
The two biggest criticisms of Daggerheart I've seen so far are "it's D&D with other games stuff glued on" and "without turns this isnt a game!" Both seem like takes from people who can't see the whole elephant. The different parts of any system work in concert, not alone.

The Wizards of Korr draw their power from an ancient ooze. With each spell they cast, more slime spills out, poisoning their land. The only place left to go is up, and so the Tower of Korr climbs ever higher towards the sky.
I have never made enough making Party of One to pay myself. I would like to be able to pay myself a small amount for making the show. I have to meaningfully reevaluate how I finance the show to do that. I hope yall will give me some grace whenever I make moves to do that.

Not-so-hot-take: maritime adventuring rules for OSR games tend to be downright Byzantine and wargame-y. As such, they stand at odds with regular travelling and dungeon crawling procedures, the best of which are much more elegant. I tried to fix that. Link below!

This is actually an example of what might be called a 'dead unicorn trope'. People think they're beating a dead horse but it's original existance is rarer than the think. Ex: Hero slays dragon and gets princess. Sounds like a common fairy tale right? Now name one. 1
"In this fantasy we're subverting the overused 'sword fighting hero' trope" Literally when does this actually happen? "Are you serious? It's literally everywhere all the time!" Give me examples
I'm glad everyone talked me out of re-doing the cover for Tangled Blessings. I'm instead putting that energy into the cover for the expansion, and it rules.
