Contemplating putting Wolfblight back to agents once it has a new cover. However I understand most agents refuse to look at indie works once they are published and I am scared that if I did get representation, I would have to mutilate my book #WritingCommunity
@Wolfofsteele The only thing my publisher asked me to change was the title and I agreed with him. The new title I came up with was much better - Blood Mansion.
@Wolfofsteele I think it would be better to write another series and pitch it to them. Publishers like to have their input on the book/ series before it’s published. That being said, you should use your previously published works as a selling point to publishers.
@Wolfofsteele After i finish my series, i have plans for a stand-alone book i want to write that i will try to take to publishers/book agents I am hoping my series will serve as proof of concept for myself as a writer. There are always other books to take to them bud, keep your work you like
@Wolfofsteele Unless your book has structural issues, or highly controversial subject matter, I doubt you’d experience get “mutilated” by a publisher. I’ve heard stories of books cutting characters completely, or even changing the ending, but those hardly seem like egregious offenses to me.
@Wolfofsteele I am so so afraid of this. I admire you for putting your work out there honestly. Keep at it.
