@nerdporeallife Okay. WTF is wrong with my sound? I spent so much time testing out my mic setup before coming on. Why is it so quiet when I clearly turned the volume up to the max? Why am I muting out mid-word half the time? Why does my sound setup create an echo for everyone else? WTF?!
@nerdporeallife Fun discussion. Would love to do it again for Volume2~
Finally, someone made one that's genuinely funny.

@aaronehasz @Citibank WTF?! I made 2 purchases over $200 on the same day with my Bank of America Debit Card at Costco, and the bank CANCELED my debit card. Losing almost $30K in 2,000 rapid charges seems like it should be a no-brainer. CitiBank better figure this out. Seems like a dangerous loophole.
@Uhhhplumbuhh You're in luck. There is an entire genre of animation that meets your criteria.
@last_podcasters It's made me realize that if Peter Jackson made his trilogy and released it today, instead of 25 years ago, the OG fandom would have condemned it as trash because it wasn't perfectly faithful. 😬
@nozxel19 Did you miss literally all the scenes leading up to the library? Seems like you were watching with your eyes amd ears closed. It made perfect sense why he was there.
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit Literally never argued that. It's okay. Nice chatting, but I have to get back to work.
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit When did I ever say I was confused?
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit I mean, when the reporter is directly speaking with the producers and writers, that's more than just rumors. That's reporting.
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit It's certainly good to be skeptical of reports, but it's also good to research who is reporting😉
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit The reason Bryke left Netflix was exposed earlier this year. Some of the non-negotiables were those mentioned above. Im sure those changes could be good, but Iroh as the main villain changes at least 50% of Avatar into not a little different story. A TOTALLY different story.
@SupahGassy @KnightGambit I'm sure the OG fans would have preferred a live action adaptation with Ozai dying in S1, Yue being killed by an arrow, and Iroh secretly being the bad guy, betraying Zuko, and becoming the final boss. Those changes would definitely have been better than what the OG show did.
The creators wanted to create a show that was based on their original pitch book and Netflix was the one who wanted it closer to the cartoon….it was Mike and Bryan that wanted massive changes and weren’t allowed to do it
@I_Am_Orion @KnightGambit From what ive read and know its "creative differences" and one of the creators put out a whole Tumblr post explaining things etc basically saying Netflixs promise of keeping the spirit of the show wasn't being followed through.
@aaronehasz I would LOVE to chat with you about Avatar and your perspective of this adaptation. I missed you at the NATLA S2 premiere & was kicking myself when I was told you were there. If I'd known, I would've immediately sought you out. If you ever want to chat, please DM me or email me.
@michaelkhaycee You just answered your own question. Also, it's not about casting Azula aside. It's all about manipulating her into a position of competition. Making her (and the fire nation) stronger by forcing her to eliminate all threats.
@Aji_ben72 In eastern tradition, monks often receive their food from donations. This is why the classic image of an eastern monk includes him or her holding an alms bowl. Civilians would fill it with money or food and receive thanks and offers of prayers and blessings in exchange.
@ani_meme25 The whole point is that they both know who the other is because thry met before when they faced Azula and then Azula blasted Iroh. They are both pretending not to know the other. Watch the scene closely. Pay attention to every movement and word.
@OxAbbe Yes. But he's the most psychologically resilient once he makes it onto the team (including Katara and Aang). It's much easier to stand on the river bank at the head of the river, than it is to swim miles against the current to get to the same place.
@Eyaaaad Could it be a genetic predisposition?
