Holy Smokes!! Say it ain’t so Joe!? This is nuts. 1 thing to consider & look beyond lack of Showrunners is how many writers fill #2 spot to help bring authenticity. Also shows created by someone Latin@ but Showrunner is not. The leads tho. 😤 I’ll offline about that!

News & decisions like these sometimes make me feel like we’re in a 2 steps forward, 2 steps back type of dance. Gotta keep fighting for inclusivity to be achieved on & off the screen + with decision makers. It’s what motivated some of us to join this crazy biz! La Lucha Sigue!

Question for my rep friends here - how do you all feel about getting material submitted without any context or any like previous relationship with someone? And vice versa for the execs - when it’s out of the blue without a phone call and no prior contact/communication?
