This man is a 💯 on the truth scale! Speaking from experience: my long term / cushion account got blown May 5th, 6th and 9th when the market dumped hard 🩸🦈 (3 day crash) I was devastated because I left my job May 4th 🤦🏽‍♂️ Fortunately, I had that cushion but still! LISTEN TO HIM!

Don’t rush your progress with trading. I know a lot of people would love to quit their job and do this full time. Here is a thread to help you figure out whether you are ready to do this full time or not.

@BrettSimba I think the market will do the opposite of whatever it “should” do based on the data. The market has a mind of it’s own. Good news: market goes down; bad news: market storms up. SPY went from 390ish to 415 after another 75 BPS; official recession numbers; and mediocre earnings.

@BrettSimba Letting the news have too much impact on my decisions. [No sarcasm] I was too concerned about the bill congress finallly passed yesterday, which will give tax incentives on new and used electric vehicles and provide funding for other climate tech.

@BrettSimba @kevintrades I saw you signal from a plane but do you trust airplane WiFi enough to trade with? I’ve missed out on 3 solid days in the last 3 weeks because I was on a plane for the first 30-90 minutes of market hours. 🤦🏽‍♂️

@kevintrades Took some losses last week that brought me down to an area in my budget that makes it hard to trade w/out too much emotion. Having some anxiety issues too. Got a part time job like Brett always recommends. Praying for a good opportunity to get back in the “game”. 🙏🏽

@BrettSimba Hard lesson(s) learned today; especially, w/recession becoming official. Tough game sometimes.

@BrettSimba I made the mistake of being too Bear biased the last two days. Didn’t take Kevin’s calls yesterday; bought 7/29 puts yesterday post FOMC expecting market to be red ALL day; got away from puts this morning when you indicated market could turn but I didn’t do any calls. 🤦🏽‍♂️ 20%L

@BrettSimba Indeed. I’m a little worried about how there was a bullish rally for about an hour after the last two FOMC rate hikes. #FakeOut. … I did one $SPY 7/29 380p w/you because BR - Family ✊🏾 Haha. Then a 8/5 $QQQ 293p and a couple $SQQQ 8/5 calls.

@BrettSimba @boilerroomtrds When you get a moment to spare, can you let us know where all the recordings of Boiler Room classes are being saved to? The last recording on the Boiler Room site is the 5/22 Market Review 😬 (Not complaining; just asking. Appreciate you 🤙🏽)

@BrettSimba Why QQQ instead of $SPY initially? I made the mistake of getting on SPY when I should have put more on QQQ so I’m curious to know what you saw? (Made a lil $ off QQQ w/u but not what I should’ve. Bad sizing AND trimming execution on my part. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Was there for 210 on NFLX tho 🙌🏽)
