@BrashearCj2770 Going by your make belief model, when the sun is above Johannesburg, the light can't reach Auckland NZ. Or when its above Auckland it can't reach Santiago, yet all 3 places have sunlight at the same time(in December) for nearly 4 hours at the same time. Your cope is showing.

@BrashearCj2770 I agree. It can't shine over the "whole realm" on a FE! However it shines in they 3 cities at the same time, even though they are at totall opposite ends of your FE map.

@BrashearCj2770 "Radar waves don't bend" isn't the gotcha you think it is. They travel roughly straight, which is EXACTLY why Earth's curvature limits radar range. Higher aircraft can be detected further away. The FAA literally teaches this. You've confused how radar works with a map projection.

@BrashearCj2770 We use radar to measure distances to nearby planets, then use maths and their orbits to work out how far away the Sun is. It's measured using real observations, not guesswork. Repeatable and verifiable over and over again.
