King Charles III Coronation celebrations in Year 1. 🇬🇧 We kickstarted the celebrations by making crowns, flags and enjoyed a picnic lunch. We can’t wait to continue celebrating over the extra long weekend. 🤴🏻🎉 @TorrisholmeCPS

In Art we have been making 3D sculptures out of a range of materials. We practised rolling, pinching, squeezing and squashing. We then decided which was our favourite material to make a sculpture with. @TorrisholmeCPS

We had a nurse visitor this morning. We talked about Florence Nightingale and the role of nurses today. We are very grateful for the nurses and doctors who care for us. @TorrisholmeCPS

We’ve had a fabulous afternoon with Jan from the RNLI. We have learnt how to stay safe by the coast. We know that if we are by the coast or we get into trouble, we must remember the rules: stop and think, stay together, float and call 999 @TorrisholmeCPS

We have had a great first day of our DT baking week! We started the day taste testing different cupcakes before designing and baking our first batch ready to taste tomorrow! Yummy!!
