ℹ️ About @HeyGoNFT ℹ️ ...a thread 🧵 @HeyGoNFT is me. A guy. One who is tired of the silence in the #Zilliqa. I make music when I can and I want to bring my music friends to $ZIL. So.. what did I do?..

ZILBATZ NFTs [THREAD] I'm sad to hear today that @SpardaWallet have sold their tokens and left the community without notice. The platform was a joy to use and it was Sparda that truly ignited NFTs on @Zilliqa. This amazing story seems to have had the saddest of endings though.

@cryptoverlordx It's more difficult with custom contract metadata but I'll try to find a simple way forward soon. I think if you 'right click save' from Sparda the file name is actually the IPFS hash. Once you have the hash you can pin it on your own node or a third party service.

After speaking with AJ from the Sparda Team I feel confident that Token metadata and media data won't disappear overnight. The platform is still functional though nothing has been confirmed so IMO minting new NFTs and sales are risky. You can seek to pin IPFS data yourself.

I will reach out to @pinatacloud and see what their default handling of expired custom links might be so we can try to gauge how future-proof on-chain links are.

@imajand @SimonPdv @DopeCrewFriends @Zillicones @EverydayArt23 @SoulApeOfficial @DrDeathCultClub @Diabolixx2 @kaelin_12 @OasisOfAmazing @Saint_Bartend @adiwiboow @FknApesClub Thanks man. Yeah, I always got the feeling Chris is the kind of person that who realises the importance of the data and wouldn't erase such awesome creativity. It all really does suck 😞 and I can't say I like the way it was done but like you said, losses for everyone. 😢

It puts you in the firing line.. a lot of people are hurting at the moment and this is a shock.😔 So the custom URLs on-chain for ZRC1s are safe for now? Conscious that this is expensive

@imajand @SimonPdv @DopeCrewFriends @Zillicones @EverydayArt23 @SoulApeOfficial @DrDeathCultClub @Diabolixx2 @kaelin_12 @OasisOfAmazing @Saint_Bartend @adiwiboow @FknApesClub Hey man. I realise you were late to the game and I cannot find fault with the product or the work ethic of the devs involved such as yourself. I have tried to contact Chris on Telegram about the platform + NFT data / Sparda IPFS links. Will these remain active and viewable there?
