Bridge mode is the default: NEAR Intents settles on Arbitrum One, Relay pays your pass on Robinhood Chain, the hub sweeps it. The relayer holds one order for seconds. Instant mode turns on when the treasury funds the vault: the hub delivers the block after settlement and Relay refills the vault behind it.
Your pass has two exits and nobody can close the second one. sweep: anyone can call it, it buys $ZECPASS for you on the Pons curve. withdraw: only you can call it, it hands you the raw ETH. Works while paused, before the token existed, whatever the owner does.
Start at any address holding $ZECPASS and walk backward. The sweep, the pass, Relay, the relayer, a NEAR Intents solver, a deposit address on Zcash. Every step is public and you can do it in an afternoon. Then the deshield. No sender. The walk ends there, for everyone.

What one tenth of a ZEC buys right now, quoted live by NEAR Intents and Relay: 0.0557 ETH on Arbitrum One, 0.0556 ETH on Robinhood Chain, 0.5 % to the hub, the rest to the curve. About 151 dollars. The site refreshes it every minute.
Your pass is an address on Robinhood Chain derived from your receiving address alone. It exists before any code does. Relay paid one on 21 September, 0.0003 ETH from Arbitrum One, arrived in seconds. Anyone can pay it. Only you can empty it.
$ZECPASS has no team allocation. Two incomes: the 2 % creator tax on every trade and the 0.5 % on every pass, both to the treasury. Three expenses: relayer gas on two chains, one small machine, and the vault for instant delivery. Nothing in the design needs the price to move.
The day a NEAR Intents solver quotes ETH on Robinhood Chain, new passes go straight from Zcash to your pass and the relayer holds nothing at all. The relayer checks that route every ten minutes and switches on its own. It was the design from day one.
Where Zecpass can hurt you: one relayer holds one order's ETH for a few seconds on Arbitrum One. That is the whole trusted surface in bridge mode. In instant mode the contract caps the relayer at 0.5 ETH per order and 5 ETH per day, from the treasury's vault, never from yours. zecpass.app/docs/security
Hidden: who sent the ZEC. The deshield shows an amount and a one-time address, nothing else. Visible: the amount, the time, and everything your address does afterward. The privacy page lists what every observer on the road can see, station by station. zecpass.app/docs/privacy

Nobody had connected the shielded pool to Robinhood Chain. NEAR Intents lists ETH on Robinhood Chain as an asset and no solver quotes it. So Zecpass takes the two rails that do exist, NEAR Intents to Arbitrum One and Relay to Robinhood Chain, and puts one contract at the end. zecpass.app/docs/architect…
