The Central Government has implemented fixed office timings for its employees. On the other hand, there are no fixed office timings for bank staff. The CAG Letter states that: #1) Normal office hours of attendance, on all working days are from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with lunch break from 1.00 p m. to 1.30 p.m. #2) It has been noticed that some members of staff continue to sit in office even after 7 p.m. This not only causes inconvenience to the caretaking staff of this office as well as that of the CPWD but also renders the security arrangement difficult. If in the interest of the office work, it becomes absolutely necessary for some members of the staff to sit after 7 p.m. in future, they would obtain the prior permission of the Deputy Accountant General concerned and communicate it to welfare cell for information. #3) The office will remain open for regular work for five days in a week from Monday to Friday and all Saturday would be Holidays with effect from 3rd June, 1985. #4) Except during budget pressure/ preparation of draft Audit Report and other important work, etc. no clerk/Typist/Auditor/Sr. Auditor should remain in officer later than 6.45 P.M. from March to October and later than 6.00 P.M. from November to March without the permission of his Sr. Audit Officer/ Audit Officer. Good morning yah banks 6 or 7 din khulenge and bankers 5 din aayenge yah terrible idea hai so please see that this does not happen Because we do not have manpower for this and people want 2 days continuous off so those away from home can visit their home particularly officers

Seriously bhai… main itna dumb hu ya log dumb hain? 5 Days karwane ke liye RBI, DFS, LIC etc sabka comparison diya. Wahan hai to yahan bhi karo But govt ke saamne munh nhi khula Bankers ko 5 days ke liye itna tarsa diya hai, itna rula diya hai ki ab ye bojh lagne laga hai.

@Truth_001100 & do u think bankers are willingly setting these targets ourselves? Who imposes them on us? If you have an issue with target-driven selling, question the system that sets those targets. Calling the employees working under those pressures ‘leeches’ is neither fair nor constructive

@VinodSi51074226 We do follow the rules. A strike is a way to collectively raise unresolved concerns, not ‘drama’. And no, we’re not trying to harass the common public. We know customers are affected, but that doesn’t make our concerns invalid.

@AIBEAofficial AIBOC owes every banker an answer. What demands were met before pulling the plug? Or was this entire strike call just a tool to humiliate us in front of the public? Leaders shook hands with the Govt while rank-and-file bankers faced unprecedented backlash. How will you ever ask

@cyberworld9211 We will, dnt worry. 😄 It wasn’t a big deal for us, bcz bankers often have to work beyond our official hours anyway. Bt honestly, jokes abt heart attacks aren’t funny at all. u can disagree wid us, but y nt show just a li'l empathy instead of spreading negativity abt everything?

@Narender_551 Yes everyone is mocking us bcz the negative PR tht wz done by the govt & our managements.. also our union leaders ditched us in the last moment. Very few ppl understands the problem we face on day to day life otherwise thr r so many thankless ppl in the world
