@HarryHenley94 @NatOTdunkley @British_Airways @julesonthames This is shocking from @British_Airways "operational reasons" is not an explanation, especially after the 7hr delay this flight had in Johannesburg.

@British_Airways @HarryHenley94 @British_Airways Flight BA54 has taken off, it arrives at London Heathrow at 2pm UK time. Passengers were kept on board for almost 7hrs

@British_Airways @British_Airways is there an explanation as to why the passengers have been kept on board for 6hrs? Not to mention they have an 11hr flight ahead of them? This is massive gross misconduct against the well being of your passengers!

@British_Airways @British_Airways can we please have more updates on this situation? This is a huge worry for our family members on this flight!

@British_Airways My parents are on this flight and I haven't been able to get in touch with them in over 3hrs! This is unacceptable from @British_Airways

@British_Airways This flight was due to leave at 22:00 on 21st Nov. How can these passengers still be on a grounded flight 4hrs after it was due to take off?

Congratulations to our repeat Olympic champion, Tatjana Smith, for earning South Africa’s first #gold medal at #Paris2024 with her stunning surge in the 100m breaststroke in the Paris La Defense Arena pool. Congratulations too to mountain biker Alan Hatherly for collecting bronze in the men’s cross-country race, with the slightest of margins separating the podium party. We can only look forward to more spectacular performances.

1/2 I praise the approval by the #UN GA with an unprecedented majority of votes of the resolution with a strong demand to Russia to immediately stop the treacherous attack on 🇺🇦. I’m grateful to everyone & every state that voted in favor. You have chosen the right side of history

A message to Conservative MPs. If you have one shred of compassion for all those families who sacrificed so much, who lost so much, you’ll put a letter in, and be done with him (Location: Parliament)
