भारत में शादियों में फ़िज़ूल खर्ची बढ़ती जा रही है । पहले मंडप में ही शादी, वरमाला सब हो जाता था..फिर अलग से स्टेज का खर्च बढ़ा। अब हल्दी और मेहंदी में भी स्टेज का खर्च बढ़ गया। दहेज का दंश झेल रहा समाज बढ़ते ख़र्चों तले दबा जा रहा है। इसमें कमी न आयी तो बेटी का पिता दब जाएगा।
