SEALSQ–WISeKey Quantum Highway™: A Global Sovereign Infrastructure from Silicon to Quantum and Space The SEALSQ–WISeKey Quantum Highway™ is a physical and digital infrastructure progressively interconnecting our technology centers across Spain, France, Switzerland, the United States and India around a common sovereign chain of trust. The objective is not to develop semiconductors, post-quantum cryptography, quantum computing, photonics, digital identity and satellite communications as separate technologies. Murcia, through Quantix Edge Security, brings capabilities in the design, testing and personalization of post-quantum semiconductors. The project represents approximately EUR 40 million, including EUR 19.6 million committed by the Spanish Government through SETT. One of its objectives is to enable the secure injection of digital identities and cryptographic keys directly into semiconductor components. La Línea de la Concepción complements this infrastructure and represents another connection point with the Group’s technology and space activities. Spain therefore becomes one of the locations where technologies designed across the other Quantum Highway centers can be industrialized, personalized and secured before deployment. 🇫🇷 FRANCE — Secure Semiconductors, ASIC, Cryo-CMOS & Quantum France represents a significant part of the design and engineering layer of the Quantum Highway. Meyreuil concentrates SEALSQ’s historical expertise in secure elements, secure semiconductors, embedded PKI and post-quantum technologies. Toulouse and Grenoble, particularly through IC’ALPS, strengthen ASIC and Cryo-CMOS design capabilities required for new generations of quantum systems. The French ecosystem therefore creates a bridge between the design of traditional secure semiconductor technologies and future quantum-computing architectures. 🇨🇭 SWITZERLAND — Geneva, Lausanne and Now Jura Switzerland is becoming a central pillar of the Quantum Highway by combining Root of Trust, PKI, photonics, post-quantum semiconductors, microtechnology, secure personalization and space technologies. Geneva — Root of Trust, PKI & Space Geneva brings together WISeKey, SEALSQ and WISeSat and represents the historical core of our digital trust infrastructure. WISeKey’s Root of Trust and PKI technologies are designed to ensure that a verifiable cryptographic identity can accompany semiconductor components, IoT devices, critical infrastructure and satellites throughout their lifecycle. Geneva also provides the connection with WISeSat, progressively extending this chain of trust into space. Lausanne — Photonics & Quantum Technologies Lausanne, particularly through Miraex, adds the photonics layer required for future quantum infrastructures. These photonic technologies can help bridge microwave and optical environments and support the development of quantum networking, quantum-computing architectures and future satellite-to-ground quantum communications. Jura — Post-Quantum Semiconductor & Cybersecurity Center On September 21, 2026, WISeKey, SEALSQ and the Republic and Canton of Jura announced an MoU aimed at establishing a Post-Quantum Semiconductor and Cybersecurity Center in the Canton of Jura. The project contemplates an indicative investment of CHF 40–60 million over six years to create a sovereign Swiss capability for the design, personalization, testing and secure provisioning of post-quantum semiconductors. At the heart of this infrastructure will be SEALSQ technologies, including the QS7001 Quantum Shield, with planned capabilities covering: Cryptographic Root-of-Trust Injection → Secure Firmware Personalization → Semiconductor Testing → Certification → ASIC Design The center is intended to combine SEALSQ and WISeKey technologies with Jura’s longstanding industrial expertise in microtechnology, precision engineering, quality control and traceability. The announced objective is to create approximately 40 direct jobs during the first two years, 150 within five years and more than 250 over the longer term, with at least 60% of positions expected to be held by residents of the Canton. Importantly, the Jura project draws directly on the model being developed through Quantix Edge Security in Murcia. This demonstrates one of the fundamental principles behind the Quantum Highway: instead of concentrating critical infrastructure in a single country, we are developing interconnected sovereign capabilities across trusted jurisdictions. The Jura center could also explore opportunities associated with Swiss industrial programs and armasuisse, where secure semiconductors and ASIC technologies are relevant to secure communications, avionics, sensors, defense and space applications. The Swiss Quantum Highway corridor therefore becomes: Geneva — Root of Trust, PKI & Space ↕ Lausanne — Photonics & Quantum ↕ Jura — PQC Semiconductor Personalization, Testing & ASIC This connects Switzerland’s expertise in cryptography and digital identity with its longstanding leadership in microtechnology and precision industry. 🇺🇸 UNITED STATES — Quantum Made in USA The Quantum Highway also crosses the Atlantic to connect with the United States. Chicago, through EeroQ, adds a quantum-computing technology based on electrons on helium. The contemplated integration with SEALSQ’s post-quantum and Root of Trust technologies is intended to extend the same trust architecture into future quantum computers. This infrastructure is part of the Quantum Made in USA strategy, aimed at developing sovereign U.S. quantum capabilities while remaining interconnected with the broader Quantum Highway ecosystem. 🇮🇳 INDIA — Sovereign Semiconductor & Space Infrastructure India represents the Asian extension of this infrastructure. Through SEALKAYNESQ, the joint venture between SEALSQ and Kaynes SemiCon, the objective is to develop sovereign Indian capabilities for Custom Design, Testing and Secure Personalization of post-quantum semiconductors. The center in Sanand, Gujarat, is intended to enable local personalization of quantum-safe components and the integration of PKI and post-quantum cryptography directly at the silicon level. The cooperation goes beyond semiconductors. WISeKey, WISeSat and SEALSQ are also working with Kaynes Space Technology to integrate SEALSQ’s PQC technologies and WISeKey’s Root of Trust into WISeSat satellites manufactured in India. 🛰️ WISeSat — Extending the Quantum Highway into Space WISeSat adds the orbital dimension to the Quantum Highway. WISeSat satellites progressively integrate SEALSQ post-quantum technologies and the WISeKey Root of Trust, allowing secure digital identities to extend from semiconductor components to satellites and connected devices on the ground. The next stage is the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud — QSOC, developed by SEALSQ and WISeSat. The Quantum Highway therefore becomes more than an infrastructure connecting terrestrial technology centers: space itself becomes another layer of the quantum architecture.
