Can write a whole book on how District courts treat cases - cases which can close in one month straight, but keep them pending over 10 yrs, waste public money, grow lawyers wealth and harrass innocent citizens.We dont have a judiciary. Its another m protecting interests.
Attitude of judges - pander to lawyers, demean parties to the case, adjourn case indefinitely.Fleeced by lawyers, on non appearance of a party and lawyers, a citizen is helpless. Seems a system bankrupt of any Human or Bhartiya values. Or professional conduct. All lawyers agree.
When lawyers celebrate judgements and thank the judge profusely after 15 yrs - its shocking! Complete mockery of justice.When asked why you celebrate such delayed orders? Ans is this time judge was in good mood so passed order finally ! Its all about moods. Will he, wont he ?
Now come to lawyers - there is no system of fees.Most money exchanges hands in cash. No receipt,no SLAs. Payment to be done in advance. Lawyer may abscond for months and several hearings with no explanation. If you change, he refused to return your files. #legalsystemormafia
Huge litigation is coz of lacunae in administrative policies and their execution. Govt or civil litigation is due to a. Grey areas& Inability to interprete the spirit of the law b. Breaks & adjourns c. Vested interests d. Lawyers using delay tactics. e. Corruption and greed
