Percentage of the company theory: If a school gives you 10% of their NIL budget versus 2.5% what’s that mean for minutes? Miss spoke in the video but here’s the Example. *If you get 50k of 500k budget you get 10%* versus 180k of 7 million is 2.5%. Thank you to the Newark Rams!
I talked to over 100 young coaches this summer. The number one question they ask, how’d you get to where you’re at now? If I was starting out today here are 15 things I’d do. 1. Get around good players. Coach AAU, find a good prep school, train kids.

A hill I will die on: Sometimes the opportunity is more important than the salary. My first coaching job was $3k, the next one was $5k, and when I was 27 I worked for free like many coaches do. You’re not late you’re right on time.

Last week I wrote a thread on sending cold emails. Here’s the best cold email I’ve ever gotten and why. 1. He provided value. At the time I just got promoted and needed a new code window. @Mikey15Carrillo was able to jump on zoom and show me some tips.
I’ve sent hundreds of emails as a young coach looking for advice. At times, it’s hard to get an answer. Here are 7 tips to help you get a response. (#5 is an example) 1. Weaponize the subject line. -Find something that will catch their attention (Hometown, College, etc).
