Relativity Space raises $140 million today for their Series C. Super impressed and honored to have backed their seed round back in the day. Phenomenal progress and pushing the limits of scaled 3d printing. Their 3d printer is dream worthy (see image!) shar.es/aXDZUJ

A Mars colony could grow enough food to feed 1 million people within 100 years of arriving, finds new study. Though we'd have to import a lot of food to start, the researchers say we could eventually shift to a sustainable, Martian-grown (bugs, algae) diet buff.ly/2m4mchy

Her chin drops as she leans toward the railing of her cradle, several Medusa-like tubes around the harness slowly filled with the glowing blue liquid that would help channel her concentration, while various pneumatic clamps popped and hissed and latched the harness into place.

The others looked over the edge in disbelief, as a large hatch appeared, about three meters long and two meters wide. It was quite clearly a door with a viewport, and what appeared to be a control panel to the side.

"Ok, Lieutenant, we're ready for de-pressurization on your mark. Winds are nominal, but this chasmata is the deepest one we'll be charting on this leg. Mean elevation here is about minus five clicks, so we have less than three hours of natural light to get our work done.
